When it comes to scaling objects back and forth between paper space and model space this command comes in really handy. CHSPACE.
Most of the time we draw in model space and make viewports to show the work in paper space, but sometimes we might have some objects or drawings that we imported from somewhere else that were drawn in paper space and we want to have them in model space or vice versa. Other times the drawings were drawn with another software (other than AutoCAD) that might not work too well in model space, too many polylines etc..
The easiest way to deal with that would be to use the command CHSPACE. Whether the object is in model space or paper space, just type CHSPACE and select the object that you would like to export and it will automatically scale and export it in place for you. Very simple.
